Job Summary

This role places you within an agile team at Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, focusing on the design, implementation, and testing of highly safety-critical embedded software. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing platform software for critical computing platforms, performing detailed software reviews, and designing and documenting robust software architecture. You will also be responsible for analyzing stakeholder needs and defining actionable requirements, contributing to design improvements, and supporting software increment planning. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science or Embedded Systems, coupled with professional experience in Model-based System Design and Embedded Systems Software Development. Crucially, very good knowledge of C and Python is required, alongside fluent English skills.
