Job Summary

This position offers a fixed-term, full-time opportunity for a PhD Student/Bioinformatician to join the Institute of Medical Informatics in Münster, contributing to the DFG-funded Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1748, which focuses on reproductive science. The core responsibilities include the development, implementation, and maintenance of advanced bioinformatics pipelines for large-scale omics data, such as RNASeq and scSeq. The role also requires contributing to new algorithm development for efficient data analysis and participating in workflow automation using systems like Snakemake. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field, coupled with strong programming skills (Python, R, C/C++).
