Job Summary

The IT Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Digitalization and IT staff unit of the Vorpommern-Greifswald district, focusing on managing the relationship and services between the district administration and the external IT service provider (IKT-Ost AöR). Day-to-day responsibilities include strategic and operational customer and service management, such as establishing and maintaining the service catalog, defining procedures for handling IT requirements, and coordinating communication between internal customers and the IT provider. The role also involves overseeing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), managing complaints and escalations, and participating in the procurement of hardware and software, including needs assessment and supporting tender processes. Key qualifications include a degree in Public Administration, IT Administration, or a comparable field, ideally coupled with professional experience in IT, customer service, and project work.
