Job Summary

This role involves leading the Holdings and Participations Department within the Vorpommern-Greifswald District Administration, focusing on strategic development, financial oversight, and coordination of key processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing performance and financial targets, coordinating staff processes, representing the department to administrative and political bodies, and managing personnel and finances. A critical focus is coordinating and steering tasks related to participation management, public transport (ÖPNV), and student transportation. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing and managing the county's tax obligations, particularly concerning the new regulations for legal entities under public law (§2b UStG). The position requires a university degree in Business Administration or a comparable field, strong leadership potential, and expertise in public finance and relevant commercial and tax laws.
