Job Summary

This role involves working at the intersection of electrical/information technology and German foreign and security policy within the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) in Eschborn. The Electrical and Information Technology Engineer will be responsible for creating independent technical expert opinions on export transactions that have security or foreign policy relevance. Day-to-day tasks include providing technical assessments for national and international listing of goods under export control law, and drafting technical reports for federal ministries and other authorities.
