Job Summary

This full-time position as a Radiochemical Laboratory Technician in Erlangen involves performing and documenting critical radiochemical routine analyses for an international client in the Nuclear Energy sector. Day-to-day tasks include detailed sample preparation, such as drying, grinding, ashing, and microwave digestion, followed by the separation of radionuclides according to established analytical procedures. You will also conduct basic measurements using Alpha, Beta, and Gamma spectrometry and assist in the overall planning and organization of analysis orders. The ideal candidate must have completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician and possess professional experience in radiochemistry, specifically handling and processing radioactive materials. A key prerequisite is medical fitness for working in radiation protection/control areas and the willingness to obtain necessary security clearance (ZÜP). This role offers immediate entry into a specialized, high-security environment within a major international company.
