Job Summary

This role seeks a skilled Project Engineer specializing in High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Control Systems Technology for a long-term assignment with Siemens Energy in Erlangen. The core responsibilities involve creating and maintaining technical documentation, including specifications, manuals, and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) concepts. You will be responsible for defining functions and requirements for visual display, configuring HMI software (specifically Copa Data Zenon), and managing the central messaging system. A key part of the job involves integrating and validating HMI components in test setups, ensuring flawless configuration, and conducting technical acceptance tests with customers and suppliers. You will also provide technical support during system commissioning. Success requires a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, proven experience configuring HMI systems, and deep knowledge of control system protocols like IEC 61850, IEC 101/104, OPC, and DNP. This position offers long-term stability and the potential for direct takeover by the client.
