This role is for a Development Engineer specializing in the design, simulation, and testing of emission and exhaust aftertreatment products for gas engines. The successful candidate will join a motivated engineering team, focusing on the conceptual layout of aftertreatment systems and test setups, including component specification. Key day-to-day tasks involve conducting in-house and field tests on exhaust aftertreatment components, validating the overall system performance, and meticulously analyzing measurement results to derive conclusions and generate detailed reports. The position requires close collaboration with various internal departments, including controls engineering, mechanical design, performance development, and production. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable field of study

Experience

  • Experience in the layout and testing of exhaust aftertreatment systems (advantageous)
  • Experience in component validation (e.g., catalyst, mixing & dosing, filters, valves) (advantageous)
