Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive planning, implementation, and continuous development of test bench infrastructure required for engine testing. Day-to-day tasks include the technical design of necessary plant components, such as cooling circuits, gas and air supply, and exhaust systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The Project Engineer will also create 2D and 3D technical drawings (P&ID, pipe routing, spatial concepts) and prepare documentation for commercial licensing of the infrastructure. A critical component of the job is ensuring all safety requirements for the test benches and facilities are met, coordinating external contractors, and planning and executing cyclical maintenance. The ideal candidate possesses a technical background in Energy & Building Technology, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering, coupled with proven project management skills and strong proficiency in both English and German.

Completed technical education in Energy & Building Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience in plant construction (ideally)
  • Demonstrated knowledge in project management (budget, resource, and schedule planning)
