Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive project management within special plant construction, focusing on glass production and processing facilities, including infrastructure and media supply. The Project Engineer will be responsible for creating technical specifications and requirements documents, managing procurement processes, overseeing external manufacturing, and conducting final acceptance checks. Key day-to-day tasks include designing and specifying machine controls and drive technologies, creating and maintaining ECAD plans and parts lists, and coordinating material ordering, assembly, and commissioning. The ideal candidate holds a degree or equivalent qualification (such as a Technician degree) in Electrical Engineering, possesses multi-year professional experience in the field, and has thorough knowledge of relevant technical standards and regulations. Proficiency in German (written and spoken) and basic English are required, along with strong organizational skills and familiarity with MS Office, SAP-EAM, and ECAD EPLAN P8.
