Job Summary

This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing the Sales, End-Customer Sales, Customer Service, and Order Management departments, managing three teams totaling approximately 12 employees. The Head of Sales and Customer Service will be instrumental in developing and executing the company-wide sales strategy in collaboration with executive management, R&D, and Project Management. A core responsibility involves translating the diverse needs of OEM and end-customers into effective sales approaches, monitoring goal achievement, and providing regular reporting to the management board. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, coupled with significant experience in technical sales of complex products, preferably within a project-oriented environment. Strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and familiarity with the rail technology sector are key to success in this internationally operating company specializing in power electronics for global rail transport.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field

Experience

  • Several years of experience in technical sales of complex products
  • Experience in a project-oriented environment (preferred)
  • Familiarity with the requirements of OEM customers and end-customers
  • Disciplinary and professional leadership experience (managing 12+ employees)
