Job Summary

This role involves working as a Metrology Technician/Verification Officer, primarily in the field service, focusing on consumer protection and fair competition by ensuring the accuracy of measuring instruments. Key day-to-day tasks include the technical testing and conformity assessment of various measuring devices for liquids (e.g., fuel dispensers, tank truck systems, hydrogen measurement systems) and non-automatic and automatic weighing scales. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or FH Diploma in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering) or Natural Sciences (Chemistry, Physics). This position requires a high degree of responsibility, excellent analytical skills, and the physical fitness to perform work at heights (e.g., on tank farms).
