Job Summary

This role involves executing Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) tasks related to electrical harnesses within cutting-edge space projects for a major aerospace partner like AIRBUS. The technician will be responsible for processing AIT requirement documentation, integration plans, and test reports. Key daily activities include independently performing test plans using existing measuring devices, integrating and checking out test harnesses in satellite assemblies and structures according to customer requirements, and cooperating with international partners and subcontractors. The ideal candidate holds a Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace and possesses professional experience in harness manufacturing, metrology (mechanical/electrical), and a strong technical understanding of satellite mechanisms and system elements. Required Skills

Education

Completed professional training with further qualification as an Electrical Engineering Technician or Aerospace Technician, or comparable. ESA Certification for Crimping (ECSS-Q-ST-70-26) is beneficial. ESA Certification for Soldering (ECSS-Q-ST-70-08) is beneficial.

Experience

  • Professional experience in AIT Harness tasks within space projects
  • Experience in Harness manufacturing, processing tools, and production control
  • Experience in metrology (mechanical and electrical)
  • Technical understanding of satellite mechanisms and system elements required
  • Experience in mechanical satellite integration (desirable)
