Job Summary

This role seeks a Machine Learning Infrastructure and Data Engineer specializing in Magnetic Resonance Tomography (MRI) to drive the future of healthcare technology at Siemens Healthineers. The core focus is operating and maintaining a high-performance, regulatory-compliant AI development environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing high-performance GPU clusters, Cloud resources, and data management solutions, specifically involving NVIDIA DGX clusters. You will be responsible for Kubernetes cluster administration for container orchestration, optimizing infrastructure components and data pipelines in close collaboration with Data Scientists, and ensuring system security and performance using monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Key qualifications include a university degree in a relevant technical field, professional experience in ML infrastructure administration, strong Linux system administration skills, and proficiency in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation. This position offers exceptional flexibility, allowing up to 60% mobile work within Germany and the possibility of working abroad for up to 30 days annually.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a comparable subject. Relevant certifications (e.g., CKA or RHCE) are welcome.

Experience

  • Professional experience in administering Machine Learning infrastructures
  • Professional experience in Linux system administration
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (ideally Azure) and Hybrid-Cloud environments
