Job Summary

The Deutsche Bahn seeks a (Junior) Project Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering to manage maintenance and expansion projects for the S4 S-Bahn line in Hamburg. This role involves independently overseeing project phases 3 through 8 of the HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers), ensuring timely and quality execution, specifically covering the third rail and 50 Hz systems. Day-to-day tasks include participating in tendering and awarding planning and construction contracts, rigorously controlling schedules, costs, risks, and quality standards, and generating detailed project reports on progress and deviations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field, possesses strong interest in traffic infrastructure project management, and demonstrates excellent analytical skills to proactively address risks and coordinate technical amendments and acceptance procedures.
