Job Summary

This role is for a skilled Field Service Technician responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of complex industrial machinery, both domestically and internationally. Key daily tasks involve the commissioning of new machines at the Erkrath headquarters, conducting essential customer pre-acceptance tests, and traveling worldwide to perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services on-site. You will independently analyze system faults, implement effective solutions, and provide essential training to customers, operators, and maintenance personnel to ensure reliable system operation. The ideal candidate holds a completed qualification in Electronics or Mechatronics, possesses initial professional experience with PLC controls (preferably Siemens S7 in TIA Portal), and is knowledgeable in servo drive technology.
