Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive field service and commissioning of machinery both domestically at the Erkrath headquarters and globally at customer sites. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the worldwide installation, commissioning, and service deployment of complex systems. Key daily tasks include analyzing malfunctions, independently troubleshooting errors, ensuring reliable plant operation, conducting service and maintenance work, and providing training to operators and maintenance personnel. Candidates must have a completed qualification as an electrician or mechatronics technician, initial experience with PLC controls (ideally Siemens S7 in TIA Portal), and knowledge of servo drive technology. The position requires a high willingness to travel internationally, professional demeanor, and proficiency in both German and English, offering long-term perspectives and excellent benefits under the IG Metall collective agreement.
