Day-to-day responsibilities include independently conducting diagnostic measurements on equipment like cables, transformers, and converters, performing switchgear testing, and analyzing complex issues related to measurement technology, grounding, acoustics, and EMC measurements. The specialist will develop technical recommendations, create test reports, and implement standardized measurement solutions to ensure the future viability of the power grid. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to analyze complex AC calculations and phasor diagrams, and participation in on-call duty for rapid fault resolution, making it a critical and challenging role in maintaining reliable power infrastructure.
