This role is for an engaged 2nd Level Support Specialist to join the Service and System Integration team at COMBASE AG, a leading provider of cloud-based Point-of-Sale solutions. The core responsibility involves identifying and resolving complex technical challenges, requiring expertise in remotely configuring and maintaining modern IT system environments. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with the 1st Level Support and customer IT staff, managing issues via a ticketing system, and ensuring systems are up-to-date. Candidates must possess vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent, paired with solid professional experience. Essential technical skills include strong administration knowledge of GNU/Linux and Windows systems, alongside familiarity with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
