This role is essential for maintaining the operational integrity of Germany's vital autobahn infrastructure, specifically focusing on the electrical and communication systems within road tunnels near the Erfurt branch office. The Tunnel Systems Technician will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of complex electro- and communication technology, including traffic control equipment. Key daily tasks involve coordinating external contractors for rapid fault resolution, performing installations, configurations, and commissioning of new systems, and conducting mandatory inspections of electrical equipment according to DIN and VDE standards. The ideal candidate must hold a completed vocational qualification as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or possess equivalent professional experience. Experience

  • Professional experience equivalent to a completed apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering
  • Experience applying relevant DIN and VDE standards (specifically DIN VDE 0100 parts 100-600)
  • Experience in the testing of electrical systems and equipment (DGUV 203-072 and -049)
  • Desirable: Experience working on live electrical systems and equipment (DGUV 103-011)
