Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Biological or Chemical Technical Assistant to join a rapidly expanding biotechnology company specializing in innovative peptide and protein production using recombinant expression technologies. The primary focus is supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of experimental work related to peptide and protein purification and analytics. Day-to-day tasks include operating complex process systems such as cell disruption, filtration, and chromatography systems, performing detailed analyses using techniques like FPLC, HPLC, Mass Spectrometry, and Western Blot, and ensuring meticulous data documentation. Candidates must hold a BTA/CTA qualification or a B.Sc. in Life Science/Biochemistry and demonstrate professional experience with microbial protein expression and downstream processing.
