Job Summary

This role is for a Senior Scientist or Postdoctoral Researcher specializing in Downstream Processing (DSP) to join a fast-growing biotech company focused on recombinant peptide and protein production. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, optimization, and implementation of robust DSP strategies, managing process scale-up, and facilitating crucial tech transfers. Day-to-day tasks involve establishing and executing rigorous peptide and protein analyses, including release analyses, and preparing comprehensive documentation such as SOPs and customer reports. The position requires leading and training technicians and scientists while collaborating closely with upstream processing and molecular biology teams. Key requirements include a PhD in a related field (e.g., Biochemistry, Chemistry) and at least two years of professional experience in DSP, coupled with strong expertise in chromatography, scale-up, and advanced analytics (HPLC, Mass Spectrometry).
