Job Summary

This role involves joining the DFT team in Bielefeld, a specialized machine builder focusing on innovative overhead conveyor and sequencing technology for e-commerce, apparel, and specialized logistics (part of the KNAPP AG group). As a Mechanical Designer, you will act as a crucial interface between project sales and project management. Your daily responsibilities will include developing precise system layouts based on sales specifications, ensuring timely implementation, and providing technical support to project managers by creating constructive solutions for unique requirements. Furthermore, you will manage the material disposition of mechanical components using the ERP system to ensure smooth project execution. The ideal candidate brings experience in construction, proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD systems (ideally AutoCAD and Vectorworks), and a solid technical and analytical understanding, contributing actively to the company's success in varied and challenging logistics projects.
