Job Summary

As a Software Engineer at Dürkopp Fördertechnik, you will join a project team dedicated to implementing innovative intralogistics solutions for international clients. Your primary focus will be developing Warehouse Control System (WCS) software to manage automated goods transport. Day-to-day, you will program custom requirements, adapt graphical user interfaces, and design interfaces for high-level customer systems. The role involves the full software lifecycle, from initial requirement documentation and interface description to remote or on-site testing and final commissioning. This position is particularly attractive due to its blend of technical development and project management, offering a 35-hour work week under the NRW Metal and Electrical Industry collective agreement. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, (Business) Informatics, or a comparable technical vocational training/further education.

Experience

  • Professional experience in software development or entry-level candidates with relevant technical background
  • Experience in programming with C++ or C#
  • Experience with SQL-based databases, preferably Oracle
  • Experience in creating technical specifications and interface descriptions
  • Experience in conducting software tests and system commissioning
