Job Summary

This doctoral researcher position, funded by the DFG, focuses on advancing proton therapy through innovative methods and technologies. The successful candidate will conduct research on developing nanoparticle-based sensitizers for proton therapy, functionalizing nanoparticles with organic ligands, and characterizing their ability to generate reactive species. This role is part of the interdisciplinary Research Training Group GRK 3043 "AMTEC-PRO," bridging medicine, physics, and chemistry, with long-term goals of clinical implementation in collaboration with a leading European proton therapy center.
