Job Summary

As an IT Specialist for Identity & Access Management at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), you will play a crucial role in advancing the 'Digital University' vision. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve expanding modern login infrastructures using OAuth and OpenID Connect, implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for enhanced security, and developing REST interfaces for seamless system communication. You will also integrate and manage external directory systems like Active Directory/LDAP, program micro-applications in various languages, and modernize the existing identity management system. This role offers the opportunity to improve digital processes for the TUMcard, engage with users and IT service providers, and work on diverse, evolving projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in IT or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of Web APIs and IAM, experience with REST APIs and web applications, and a foundational understanding of IT security. You should be proficient in configuring servers and web services, familiar with agile software development, and capable of programming in languages like Java, Python, PHP, C#, or JavaScript.
