Job Summary
This role is based in Düsseldorf and involves crucial work maintaining and installing lightning protection systems within industrial environments, primarily supporting the chemical and nuclear sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing visual and functional inspections on existing lightning protection systems, executing necessary maintenance and repair work, and installing new internal and external systems in strict accordance with applicable standards, such as DIN EN 62305. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical documentation and ensuring work safety and execution quality on site, requiring close collaboration with construction management and adjacent trades. Key qualifications include completed technical vocational training (e.g., as an Electrician for Operational Technology or a Mechatronics Technician), physical resilience, and unrestricted suitability for working at heights.
