Job Summary

The Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office (CVUA) Sigmaringen is seeking a dedicated Information Security Officer to ensure robust information security and data protection within its operations, which heavily utilize IT technology for testing food, water, and tobacco products. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be the central expert, responsible for implementing and managing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on regional and European regulations (VwV Information Security, CSVO BW, and GDPR). Day-to-day tasks include steering security processes, implementing BSI IT Baseline Protection measures, conducting internal audits, managing security incidents, and building a reactive Business Continuity Management (BCM) system. The ideal candidate holds a relevant university degree in IT or Public Management with strong IT affinity, possesses excellent communication skills, and is committed to continuous professional development in information security.
