Job Summary

This role involves leading and managing projects focused on Cybersecurity Governance for both national and international clients. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive risk analyses, evaluating the effectiveness of existing security controls, and developing and implementing robust policies and procedures related to information security and IT risk management. The consultant will ensure compliance with various regulatory frameworks and industry standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR, while also providing training to leadership and staff on relevant governance topics. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in technical and organizational information security standards (ISO 270xx, COBIT, BSI IT-GS) and strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills. This position is available in Vienna with home office options and offers a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Required Skills

Education

Completed education with a focus on IT and/or Cybersecurity. Ideally, certifications such as ISO 270xx, CISA, CISM, CRISC.

Experience

  • Experience in establishing, operating, and improving IT and information security management methods and processes
  • Professional experience in leading and steering projects in Cybersecurity Governance
  • Professional experience with technical and organizational information security standards
