Job Summary

This role is for an experienced PLC Programmer specializing in special machine construction and plant engineering, based across multiple locations including Düsseldorf, Cologne, and Dortmund. The core responsibilities include the project planning and programming of PLC systems, focusing on the automation of new facilities and the modernization (retrofit) of existing older systems. A crucial part of the job involves designing and implementing corresponding visualizations and performing worldwide commissioning of the plants. Candidates must possess a degree or technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics, coupled with at least three years of professional experience in plant automation. Proficiency in TIA-Portal, SIMATIC S7, and WinCC is required, with knowledge of EPLAN P8 being advantageous.
