Job Summary

This role involves working as a protection and control technology expert, both remotely and on-site, to ensure the security of the power grid and accelerate the energy transition. Day-to-day tasks include modernizing substations and switchgear, integrating cybersecurity measures, and commissioning distribution stations for electric vehicle charging infrastructure, connecting them to the Cloud via IoT. The engineer will design visualization systems, test secondary and primary technology (from low to extra-high voltage), and plan, parameterize, and commission protection, control, and regulation technology in industrial and utility networks. Success in this role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical education with multi-year professional experience, strong communication and customer focus, excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting, and a Class B driver's license with willingness to travel extensively in Southern Germany.
