This role is for a Development Engineer specializing in Medium-Voltage Switchgear, focusing on the design, optimization, and automation of gas-insulated systems. The engineer will be responsible for conducting analyses, generating design concepts, and developing components with consideration for function, weight, installation, and economic aspects (Design to Cost, Design for Manufacturing). Key daily tasks involve designing parts for a new generation of switchgear, utilizing expertise in manufacturing technologies, and supporting prototypes through testing and cost calculation. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, possesses initial professional experience in designing mechanical components with electrotechnical functions, and is proficient in 3D-CAD and PLM systems like Siemens NX and Teamcenter. Experience
