Job Summary

This role is ideal for a new-college graduate seeking to support state-of-the-art 300mm semiconductor manufacturing and development in Dresden, Germany. The Junior Engineer will focus on process integration within the Back End of Line (BEOL), specifically emphasizing process flow and copper metallization schemes. Daily tasks involve developing, optimizing, and stabilizing manufacturing technologies, ensuring product quality, reducing defectivity, and improving overall process efficiency. A core responsibility is excursion handling and problem-solving using the 8D methodology, working closely with unit process, yield engineering, and customer teams. The successful candidate must possess a strong technical background in semiconductor principles, analytical thinking, and fluency in English to thrive in this diverse, multi-cultural environment, contributing directly to the Fab1 manufacturing roadmap and new technology development.
