Job Summary

This role involves complex troubleshooting and repair of electronic assemblies, primarily without circuit diagrams, within GlobalFoundries' repair workshop in Dresden. The core responsibilities include diagnosing faults in power supplies, generators, motor drivers, control systems, and measuring equipment. A significant part of the job is the continuous improvement of repair capabilities by developing custom analysis and test units, from concept to practical application. The ideal candidate possesses a vocational qualification in electronics, practical professional experience, and strong knowledge of electronic circuit technology, power electronics, and modern measurement techniques. This position is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and requires active participation in continuous improvement processes, comprehensive documentation of repairs, and potential support for internal apprenticeships. The role is full-time, permanent, and initially operates in day shifts, with readiness to work in alternating shifts if required.
