Job Summary

This critical role involves designing solutions to ensure resilient system operations within the transmission grid, working at the intersection of asset management and operational system control. The engineer will focus on maintaining system stability amidst challenges like increasing power electronics, higher grid utilization, the phase-out of coal power plants, and rising renewable energy integration. Key tasks include performing complex grid calculations (stationary, RMS, and EMT), evaluating results in the network control system, and analyzing disturbances. The successful candidate will develop specifications for future grid protection devices, coordinate protection settings with other transmission operators, and contribute to the development of assistance systems within the 'Modular Control Center System (MCCS)' project.
