Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the operational stability and IT security of central and decentralized grid control technology components. The Grid Control System Technician will be responsible for administering and developing the core grid control system and associated steering systems, focusing heavily on IT security within the Operational Technology (OT) environment. Key daily tasks include managing and integrating systems for intrusion detection, organizing and executing technical measures for the planning, construction, and operation of grid control technology, and creating comprehensive technical documentation related to network and process control technology. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Network Technology, or IT Technology, coupled with strong foundational knowledge in network, grid control, and process control technologies, and good proficiency in both German and English.
