Job Summary
This role is for an ambitious Embedded Software Engineer focused on advancing technology within a dynamic engineering environment. Day-to-day responsibilities involve close-to-hardware programming of microcontrollers, including the adaptation, implementation, and continuous development of software for embedded systems. A key part of the job is the development and execution of comprehensive unit and system tests, thorough system documentation, and the commissioning of developed software both internally and at client sites. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical training, coupled with professional experience in embedded software development. Fluency in German and good English skills are required, along with proficiency in C/C++ or Python programming languages. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Technical Informatics; or a qualification as an IT Specialist with relevant additional certification
Experience
- Professional experience in embedded software development (Ideally)
- Experience in programming microcontrollers (Desirable)
- Initial experience with Buss Systems, RTOS, Embedded Linux, or Vector Tools (Advantageous)
