Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity for professionals with an electrical engineering background (such as electricians or electronics technicians) to transition into modern technical support focused on IT hardware. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing crucial support for Auto-ID devices, including label printers and scanners, which are essential for customers in the healthcare and industrial sectors. Your daily tasks will primarily involve providing remote telephone support for installation, setup, and troubleshooting of these systems. You will analyze and resolve technical faults, perform maintenance and repairs on devices (leveraging your existing technical understanding), and meticulously document all activities within a ticketing system. While the work is predominantly remote, occasional on-site visits to customers in the Hamburg area may be required.
