This role involves providing essential Onsite IT Support for a major automotive manufacturing company in Braunschweig, focusing on Windows end devices within production and development environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and dismantling hardware, initial configuration, providing direct user support at the Service Point, and managing disturbances via a ticketing system. The technician will handle repairs of desktops, notebooks, and tablets under warranty, perform software and operating system installations, and support specialized hardware like MDE and BDE devices. Key qualifications include a completed IT vocational training (e.g., as an IT Specialist for System Integration or IT System Electronics Technician), initial experience with current Windows OS and Office products, and detailed knowledge of client hardware.
