Job Summary

This role involves working as an IT Service Technician specializing in monitoring IT applications within a production environment, primarily operating in a 24x7 monitoring and operating mode in Braunschweig. Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for all incoming communications (calls, emails, faxes), immediately responding to security attacks, and continuously monitoring selected systems for warnings and disturbances. A key function is managing the ticket lifecycle: qualifying, classifying, categorizing, prioritizing, and documenting all incoming tickets, while promptly isolating and resolving hardware and software errors as part of Second Level Support. The ideal candidate holds a completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) and possesses experience implementing service concepts and established processes.
