Job Summary

This role involves providing essential 1st and 2nd Level IT Service and Support within a European IT matrix, focusing on the administration and production environments of a slaughterhouse in Ruprechtshofen, Austria, and associated units. Day-to-day responsibilities include resolving hardware and software issues, installing and maintaining workstations and peripherals, and ensuring data quality within Helpdesk tools. The specialist will also enforce IT policies and actively support IT projects, managing communication with all stakeholders. Key qualifications include a completed IT education (apprenticeship, technical school, etc.), foundational knowledge of common IT systems, and excellent German and good English skills. The position requires a high degree of motivation, strong analytical skills for independent problem-solving, and the ability to effectively communicate technical issues to non-technical users, all while operating in a production environment and maintaining a positive attitude toward the food industry.
