Job Summary

This role offers the opportunity to significantly drive the digitalization of the Hessian Tax Administration, working within the innovative TECLION AI Competence Center in Kassel. The UX Specialist will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams of developers, designers, and tax experts to develop and continuously improve modern web applications and tools. Daily responsibilities include conceptualizing and leading usability tests and user interviews to deeply understand user needs and derive precise functional requirements. The specialist will translate these insights into tangible design concepts, creating detailed wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools like Figma. Candidates must possess several years of professional experience in User Experience, ideally with business applications, a strong grasp of Human-Centered Design, and proficiency in German (C1 level minimum) to ensure effective communication within the public sector environment.
