Job Summary

This role seeks a Senior Web/Fullstack Software Developer to join a strong team supporting a research client in Berlin. The developer will be responsible for the end-to-end development and enhancement of a modern REST API-based web application. Key day-to-day tasks include designing and implementing backend logic, data models, and business processes, as well as creating features for structured data capture, evaluation, and visualization. A critical part of the job involves ensuring high code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and static analysis, working closely with the Product Owner and the agile development team. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, coupled with strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), PHP (8+), and experience with modern frameworks like Symfony/API Platform or Laravel. The position offers flexible working hours, an indefinite contract, and the possibility of remote work.
