Job Summary

This role involves taking full responsibility for IT services within Network (WAN, LAN, WLAN, Routing/Switching, Loadbalancing, DNS/DHCP) and IT Security (Firewall, Proxy, Endpoint Security) across both on-premise and cloud environments. The Specialist will manage the entire lifecycle of these services, including planning, development, operation, and continuous security optimization through patching and lifecycle management. A key focus is driving strategic development towards Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Managed Hosting, analyzing technological trends, and creating service roadmaps to increase efficiency through automation. The position requires steering second-level support, managing external providers, and ensuring strict compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., BAIT, MaRisk, DORA) through diligent documentation and risk management. Candidates need multi-year professional experience, deep expertise in complex network and IT security technologies, and proficiency in project and process management methodologies like ITIL, COBIT, Scrum, and Prince2. Fluent German and good English skills are mandatory.
