Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Network Specialist based in Munich, joining a reputable mid-sized IT service company that provides comprehensive IT security, networking, virtualization, and cloud solutions. The specialist will be crucial in supporting customers by managing the operational aspects of their network and IT security environments. Key responsibilities include designing, configuring, and commissioning complex network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewall), managing associated projects, and continuously developing and optimizing existing systems. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or comparable technical certification (e.g., IT System Electronics Technician). Essential requirements include professional experience with switching, routing, and core network protocols, alongside strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN, DHCP, and DNS. The position offers systematic training, flexible working hours, and an intensive onboarding process, requiring good proficiency in both German and English.
