Job Summary

This role is for a Database System Engineer based in Garching near Munich, supporting the IT infrastructure of prominent industrial companies across Germany. The primary focus is on designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions, with key responsibilities including the continued development of Data Integration and Reporting capabilities. Day-to-day tasks involve managing existing database solutions, specifically MS SQL Server, defining and implementing processes and workflows, and building data integration within a Data Lake infrastructure. The position also requires supporting the development of broader Cloud strategies and designing new database architectures. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of complex data structures, proficiency in SQL, and experience with data modeling and reporting tools, particularly Power BI.
