Job Summary
This permanent position involves working as an Administrative Specialist within Department 615, the Supreme Building Supervisory Authority of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), focusing on technical building regulations and energy efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing applications for individual approvals for building products and construction type approvals, organizing and executing the NRW Building Technology Seminar, and managing the recognition of expert engineers and examination committees. The role also requires coordinating departmental budget affairs and handling general inquiries. Candidates must possess a degree (Bachelor or FH Diploma) in Civil Engineering or Architecture, combined with relevant professional experience. Ideally, applicants should have approximately three years of experience in public administration, knowledge of NRW administrative structures, and proficiency in budget management. Success in this role demands self-reliance, structured working methods, strong communication skills, and a high degree of team capability and reliability.

Completed degree (FH Diploma or Bachelor) in Civil Engineering or Architecture OR Qualification for Career Group 2, First Entry Level (Diploma/Bachelor) in Construction Technology Administrative Service.

- Professional experience qualifying for Career Group 2, First Entry Level (Construction Technology Administrative Service)
- Preferably three years of professional experience in public administration
- Desired experience in organizing events
