Job Summary

This role involves working as an IT Security Specialist, leveraging extensive expertise to secure client environments in the face of evolving cyber threats. The specialist will be responsible for the evaluation, selection, and implementation of modern IT security tools and solutions to sustainably secure the hosting infrastructure. Key daily tasks include conducting and analyzing vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to proactively identify risks and define countermeasures. The role also involves consulting IT project teams on implementing security requirements in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards like ISO 27001 and BSI-Grundschutz. Furthermore, the specialist will actively collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) on Incident Response Management and continuously monitor the threat landscape to derive suitable preventive and detection measures.
