Job Summary

As a Network Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for the strategic development and fundamental planning of supply networks and technical infrastructure to meet future energy demands. Your day-to-day work involves conducting complex network investigations and calculations to ensure efficient and secure supply structures, alongside processing network connection requests and managing approval procedures. You will play a key role in cross-divisional budget planning for investment and maintenance, while supporting operational departments in the construction and operation phases. This role is unique for its high level of technical variety, ranging from optimizing operational processes and implementing protection concepts like Redispatch 2.0 to managing technical documentation and databases. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Engineering, ideally specializing in Electrical Engineering or Supply Engineering (Versorgungstechnik).

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the planning, construction, and operation of public electricity, gas, and water supply networks
  • Extensive experience with relevant technical regulations and standards such as DIN
  • Proven track record in handling network connection requests and permit procedures
  • Experience in technical infrastructure development and maintenance management
