Job Summary

This role involves leading the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Erlangen University Hospital, overseeing 47 staff members responsible for maintaining smooth, year-round operations of critical supply-side technical systems. The manager will coordinate IT-oriented maintenance for efficient operation of technical supply systems and support IT-supported energy management compliant with ISO 50001 standards. Key responsibilities also include providing expert consultation during the planning, construction, and commissioning phases of new building projects. The ideal candidate holds a Master's or equivalent engineering degree in a relevant discipline, possesses strong organizational skills, commercial knowledge, and proven leadership experience, ideally within a hospital environment.
